I am a Langauge Arts teacher certified grades 6 - 12 with more than seven years of teaching experience. I began teaching high school English at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Massachusetts after graduating from the University of Rhode Island. During my first two years teaching, I also worked towards a Master's Degree in Education at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island as part of the PACT Program (Providence Alliance for Catholic Teachers).
It was in those first years teaching that I met my husband, Greg Deja, who is now principal of Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids. We have two children, Christopher and Samantha.
This year I will be teaching English grammar, writing, and vocabulary to students in grades 6, 7, and 8 at St. Stephen School.
